Who gets the last IPv4 address?
The Internet is fast running out of IPv4 addresses. The current prediction being that it will happen within the next 3-4 years. The solution to this problem has been IPv6, but so far IPv6 transitioning has failed to happen. This presentation will look at the reasons why IPv6 has failed, the required changes to IPv6 transitioning in a network without a free pool of IPv4 addresses and what is likely to happen with the Internet if we continue without transitioning at all.
