Biography

Dr. Pekka LEHTOVUORI holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry. Currently he is working as a Development Manager of the Grid Technologies at CSC - the Finnish IT center for science. He is responsible for the coordination and operation of CSC's international and national grid-infrastructures (e.g. DEISA, EGEE, NDGF, and the Finnish national computing grid, M-grid). Earlier he was planning and developing a workflow environment for computational drug desing applications in the multi platform computing environment.
Pekka Lehtovuori is a chair of FennoGrid ry, the association for Finnish organizations intrested in grid- and P2P technologies.
