In his paper "What is the Grid? A Three Point Checklist", Foster defines the Grid as a system that 1) coordinates resources that are not subject to central control, 2) use standard, open, general purpose protocols and interfaces, and 3) deliver nontrivial quality of service. The Minimum intrusion Grid project seeks to be very true to this 2002 definition of a Grid, this talk will describe our solutions that all seek to comply with Fosters three check-points for a Grid.
