NORDUnet
Tools and processes for an NREN NOC
There is usually one party that builds a network or develop a service and another party that actually has to operate and monitor that network or service. It is very common that operational issues are forgotten or have very little priority in the implementation stage. This can cause many problems and in the end can give rise to unhappy customers.
This presentation will give the listener the knowledge what to look for in tools, and what processes are important for the operation of a network. Using that knowledge will give less downtime in the network, a more advanced network and happier customers.
