- n the 'Identity Federations' taskforce, within the pan-European research project GÉANT3, NRENs collaborate about solving open issues in our educational Identity Federations. Andreas will give an overview of what we can expect of new functionalities from european Identity Federations within the next years. Some keywords includes: inter-connected federations, user-centric identity, beyond web single sign-on and virtual organizations.
- Bio
- Andreas Åkre Solberg has been a Researcher in UNINETT since 2004. He leads a research activity on Identity Federations in the pan-European research project GÉANT3. He has been part of the Feide project since the beginning of 2006. Prior to that, he worked with passive network monitoring in the department of research and development in UNINETT. Andreas graduated from the department of telemathics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim in 2004 with an MSc in communication technology specializing in teletraffic engineering.
