NORDUnet operates 4 virtualized server environments that are redundantly build and interconnected.
These are located at the NORDUnet core sites in Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Each is build on DELL servers, Equallogic iSCSI storage and VMWare ESX 4.0 virtualization software.
The connection infrastructure is based on Juniper EX4200 switches.
This is a scalable solution, which can easily be extended to fit future needs.

Any Nordic NREN related organization can make use of a "slice" of the setups in Copenhagen and/or Stockholm,
for short term or more permanent usage.
