Stefan Liström joined NORDUnet in the middle of 2007 and has since been evolving the operational part of NUNOC. Stefan is currently working as a project manager. He is responsible for Nordic NREN community development and international projects focusing on operations of networks and services both within one and across several domains.
In addition to the above Stefan Liström is also acting as the chairperson of the Task Force NOC (TF-NOC) within the Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association (TERENA). Working on defining best common practices for network operation centers.
Stefan Liström came to NORDUnet from Tele2, where he worked as team leader for their Data Network Operation Center. Gaining significant experience how to operate larger data networks spanning across Europe.
Stefan Liström holds a M.SC degree in Information Technology from Bond University in Australia, which has been supplemented with telecommunication, project management and leadership courses from several acknowledged schools.
